New Support Skills: 100% Base Defender Attack, 100% Base Defender Health, and 100% Base Defender Defense

Combat Boosts: 500% Health for all Troops, 750% Defense for all Troops, 1500% Attack for all Troops, 1000% Rally and Control Point Attack, 500% Prisoner Bonus Multiplier

Set Bonus Perks: 65% Base and Full Set Bonus Boost

Combat Lab Bonuses: 100% Enhancement Efficiency, 100% Disassemble Efficiency, and 100% Break Efficiency

Rebel Benefits: 100% Rebel Target Deployment Speed

Commander Ransom

In addition to these enormous boosts, there is now the ability to impose a Commander Ransom. By using a Ransom Note, one can “persuade” a captured commander’s owner to pay a fee to ensure their commander’s safe return home. If they accept, you will find yourself with a large sum of gold and their commander will go home. If not… they will almost certainly need a medical kit. The Ransom system is foolproof once the ransom is offered, so one a ransom is paid, the captured commander automatically is released and returns home.

Battle Tested Teleports

With the new Battle Tested Teleports, teleporting to other states is now a permanent option! Before now, the only way to visit another state is during an SVS KE. However, this only lasts for one hour per Mandate. Now, using a Battle Tested Teleport, you can remain in any Battle Tested State permanently, or for as long as you’d like.

There are two new teleports; both of which are available exclusively in sales. The Battle Tested Teleport works the same as a normal teleport. Players can permanently teleport between any state that is Battle Tested. The second, the Battle Tested Home Teleport, takes you back to the state you originated from instead of using another Battle Tested Teleport.

An important thing to note – It is reported that Battle Tested Teleports can only be utilized once new states are awarded the title of Battle Tested. The same cycles periodically so be on the lookout for it if you want to move to another state.

Future Troops – Tier 5 Soldiers

Tier 5 soldiers, codenamed “Future Troops,” are the new highest tier of troops ready for battle. This elite detachment is comprised of Strikers, Hunters, Wraiths, and Rocket Barrage. Additionally, these Tier 5 troops are accompanied by a fresh set of traps. Energy Fields, Plasma Mines, and Control Towers will now assist in fortifying your wall.

In order to obtain these powerful units, one must first complete the prerequisite tasks. First and foremost, Tier 4 units will need to be researched. Once they are available, a level 16 Troop Academy is required as well as Future Soldier Files. Per usual, Future Soldier Files and the items needed for the Troop Academy can solely be found in sales. Upon retrieving the files, Future Soldiers will now be available for unlock.

The extended combat research tree now provides Future Soldier research; however there is something strange about these new additions. Unlike any other research, there are no speedup or resource costs for any of them, just Future Soldier files. Odd as it may be, this is certainly not a bad thing! The supplemental research to the Future Troops not only lowers their resource cost, but also enhances the combat ability of all other units.

The Combat Lab

The Combat Lab has finished development, and is primed and ready to kick your equipment into high gear. Employing this facility is rather straightforward; however, a Lab Blueprint is required to construct the building. Blueprints of all kinds are found in packs, so keep your eyes peeled. Once a blueprint is acquired, unlock the Combat Lab by selecting it and pressing the green “Unlock Combat Lab” button.

Making Improvements

Enhancing cores & gear provide increases to their overall stat boosts. Whenever a gadget is enhanced, it raises the device’s power level. Each enhancement requires Spare Parts, and enhancements past level 1 require Key Components as well. Upgrading the lab escalates the maximum level gear can be enhanced to and amplifies its enhancement efficiency. In a level 20 lab, normal gear caps out at power level 10 and cores at level 5, with an enhancement efficiency of 12%.

Gear enhancement may be the primary function of the lab, although disassembling is just as important. Disassembling normal equipment salvages a set amount of Spare Parts, listed below:

Basic  – 100                         Advanced – 6400

Standard – 400                  Elite- 25,600

Specialized – 1600            Legendary – 102,400

As shown, the return is proportional, and because of this lower quality does not mean less value. Note that there is a 20 minute cool down between disassembling. One should also keep in mind that while disassembling does provide Spare Parts, Materials are not awarded. If you are in need of materials is is suggested that you break the item rather than disassemble it.

Mod Sets and Bonuses – A Short Guide

Mods. Any player knows what they are- small, powerful items that are installed onto equipment to heavily advance it. These tiny modifications provide a major boost on their own, but are limited to 4 slots per gear piece. Once the tool is full, the gear has seemingly reached its full potential and nothing more can be done. However, this is no longer the case. Mod Sets are the way of the future, and one of the best paths to secure tremendous commander boosts.

Mod Sets are quite straightforward. Complete the requisite research, collect the required mods for the set, and install them. Every mod that is part of a set is labeled in its description, in parentheses.

Making a Set

Before assembling a Mod Set, the proper research is needed. Each type of Mod Set has its own research, whether it be a research set or an attack set. While completing level 1 of a set research will unlock the Mod Set type, the second level of the research will unlock the 200% bonus modifier for that set. After the research is done, all that is lacking is the mods. A full set takes one of each mod in the set (in no particular order) including the special mod. If special mods are not yet available, the research can be completed in the Manufacturing research tab, and the mods themselves can be purchased in sales. If all is done right, the set will glow as shown below.

Mod Sets are excellent in empowering commander gear. With Mod Sets, commander items and equipment will be more powerful than before. Mix and match sets on different parts of gear, and combine Mod Sets with Gear Sets to maximize commander boosts!

Mobile Strike Updates – 21st Dec

Though 2016 may be coming to an end, the in-game updates are far from over. Here are this month’s highlights.

VIP Prestige 110 – VIP Tier 10

VIP levels continue to swell, now reaching up to level 110. However, this VIP Tier does offer some substantial benefits to your war effort:

  • New “Smart Rally System” – Utilizing Smart Rallies maximizes destruction and minimizes losses.
  • VIP Rally Queue – The Smart Rally System authorizes the use of the VIP Queue button. This new perk enables rally members to quickly copy the rally leader’s troop deployment.
  • Rally Troop Mismatch Alert – Uh oh, somebody forgot to follow orders. When a rally member dispatches the wrong troop type your alliance will be notified, and a red X will appear next to their deployment in the rally overview.
  • Free Mod Removal – Now, you can remove Mods from gear at no cost.
  • Bonus Boosts – 350% in extra combat boosts are supplied to your base with VIP 110

Holiday Speedup Factory Upgrade

December also brings new Speedup Factory levels, which now caps out at 15. Now, by investing 100 days of speedups into a level 15 factory, you receive one 10,000 day speedup after 7 days of accruing interest. Not only that, but starting at level 11 large speedups can be broken down, for free, into smaller parts based on the current building level.

Disruptor Gear + Level 9 Rebels

The Disruptor gear set specializes in Rebel Target elimination, granting combined boosts of 105,000 Max Energy, 150% Energy Regeneration, and 375% Commander Attack. This set comes just in time to assist with taking down Level 9 Rebel Targets. While these renegades stand as a formidable foe, they provide many precious items such as Research Files and Service Commendations. However, before you can attack Level 9 Rebels, Rebel Targets Level 9 needs to be researched in the Commander Tree.
