VIP (and VIP Prestige) in Mobile Strike

Update: The Latest Data for VIP Points Per Level and The Benefits of Each can be found on our VIP data page.

Activating VIP in Mobile Strike grants you a number of benefits. At low VIP levels the benefits are quite modest, but at higher levels it can be a real boost to your economy. Early on in the game, it’s important to manage when you have your VIP active. We will have a quick look at VIP in general and then look at VIP Prestige. Or jump straight to the VIP benefits table here.

Benefits of VIP

Keeping VIP active can hugely benefit growth.  The auto completion time for buildings and research can save you a lot of small speed ups (it is easy to run out of these and buying them with gold/loyalty is very poor value).  On top of this, the additional Daily, Alliance and VIP Missions can generate a lot hero XP, materials/mods and resources. The Missions auto complete is also a real timesaver.

Keeping VIP Active:

In an ideal world, VIP would be active all the time. However, unless you are a big spender, this can be quite challenging to achieve in the early parts of the game. There are two main ways to keep VIP active in Mobile Strike:

  1. Use a VIP Item. These come in a variety of durations, ranging from 24 hours upwards.
  2. Gain VIP points to go up a level – this grants you 24 hours of VIP for free

Using VIP Items:

These can be purchased for gold from the store and also come from a number of different Crates/Rebel Targets/Challenge prizes etc. They are not very good value to buy with gold so avoid this if possible. Later on in the game, if you are in a good alliance, you should receive enough VIP items in the form of crates to keep VIP active most of the time without having to every pay hard earned gold for it.

Adding VIP Points to Go Up a Level

Do not crack your VIP points as soon as you get them. That is a common beginner mistake. Instead save them until you are about to go on a building or research binge and then use just enough to go up a VIP level. This will give you 24 hours of VIP for free and you can make full use of the increased auto-completion time to zoom through your upgrades. If you are close to going up a level, then instead of buying a VIP item from the store, instead consider buying VIP points with loyalty from the alliance store. As you can see from the Alliance Store table, they are not great value but may be worthwhile if you are close to going up a level.

Free Ways to Get VIP Points

In addition to the above, the absolute best way to get free VIP points is to make sure you login in every day. At max login streak, this maxes out at 550 points per day which equates to 500 gold per day (if you were to buy points from the store). This is clearly well worth doing. Note: if you miss a day you won’t completely lose your login streak, it will just go down a ‘tick’ and take one day off your login streak.

You can also win VIP points from completing certain challenges.

VIP Prestige

VIP Prestige in Mobile Strike is a full set of additional VIP levels to work through after you have reached level 10 of the standard VIP levels.

Upon reaching VIP Level 10, you will be presented with the option of unlocking VIP Prestige by using a Prestige Token. The cost of this token is 10k gold. Tokens are also available in certain gold packs.

After unlocking Prestige mode, you restart your VIP progress back at Prestige VIP level 1 which  is worse than Standard VIP Level 10. As such you will want to quickly work your ways back up through the levels. In particular,  you suffer a  reduction in the number of daily, alliance and VIP quests available. Resource production boosts drop as does your instant construction speed up time.

At VIP Prestige Level 5 you start to get some benefits that are not available in Standard VIP. However, these boosts are small. It isn’t until about level 6 that Prestige starts to surpas some of the Standard VIP Level 10 boosts.  See below for the full set of Prestige VIP benefits.

Under normal circumstances you can earn up to 550 VIP points per day from your daily login streak. However, once you reach level 10, you stop receiving these until you go Prestige.

Prestige level 10 also offers the added bonus of an ‘Open 50 crates’ feature. It is nice that they have finally implemented this but I am not at all a fan of it being so exclusive. The fact that low spenders may never have access to this feature is disappointing. Having to pay to save your thumbs from Repetive Strain Injury is not what Free to Play should be about.

When to go Prestige

It is hard to give clear advice as to the optimum time to go Prestige. The main reason to switch as soon as possible is to continue to claim your 550 points per day from your login streak. However, switching too soon will mean you lose a lot of important boosts. Combat boosts in particular don’t catch-up until prestige level 10. In summary, I would say if you are not so concered about the loss of combat boosts then look to switch when you can reach prestige level 5 (a total of around 19,000 VIP points), but ifyou are a combat heavy player then you may consider waiting until level 7.

Here is a list of the VIP points required to progress through each VIP Level:

New Commander Levels 71-75

Commander Level 75 Commanders can now advance past level 70, all the way up to ...

  • Harley Gibson

This guide is now out of date for a while. The vip points needed for prestige are inaccurate and a new level of prestige 2 was just released. Thanks!

  • Thomas Pereira

Great guide, I have been looking for a place where regular VIP and VIP prestige have been compared head-to-head. Loving the table format. Very helpful- have to say though, VIP prestige from level 7 and above seems to take a lot of points. Staying on regular VIP on 10 or shifting to prestige at level ~6 is a tough call- sacrifice short-term gains for long-term rewards? The daily login of 550 points will add up. Every week you don’t prestige, you lose 3850 potential free points. I guess it’s worth switching!

  • Kawareader

The prestige 9 is equivalent to VIP 10
There are some mistakes on troops % for prestige 9 and 10, it’s not 13% and 15% but 15% and 17%

    • Thanks for the feedback – have updated the table.
