How to Gain Power
Power is the most relatively objective measure of your account’s strength, and as a result, gaining power is one of the primary goals while playing Mobile Strike.
Gaining power can be done in multiple different ways.
Methods of permanently increasing your power include:
-Base Missions
Base missions are completed when the player completes some sort of assigned task, such as building an oil well and leveling it up for the first time. A base mission is awarded each time you complete something assigned by Mobile Strike, including constructing buildings, completing research, and so on. They can be claimed, or completed in the lower left of your base view. Each one adds commander XP and power, typically according to the difficulty of the mission. Players often wait until they level up their Headquarters to claim the missions so that they can maximize the XP bonus from each one once they have a higher level Hall of Heroes. This is done because the XP bonus conferred rises as the Hall of Heroes rises in level.
-Increasing Your Commander Level
Increasing your commander level can be done by earning experience points (XP). XP can be earned by battling with your commander present (either attacking or defending), completing research, base missions as mentioned above, completing research, attacking rebel targets, and completing base missions. The power from your commander can be taken away if he or she is eliminated, but this loss can be negated if you resuscitate him or her using a Medical Kit. Using a Medical Kit will save your power, and all of your Commander XP. So in a way, it is permanent power gained, but also could be considered temporary if you’re splitting hairs.
-Research
Completing research adds power and can unlock more troops, traps, increase resource production, and many other things. It cannot be reduced or taken away. As mentioned above, completing research also awards XP for your commander.
Methods of temporarily increasing your power include:
-Constructing Buildings
Once built, buildings add power on their own, as well as triggering the completion of a base mission the first time you construct them. The power awarded (aside from the completed base mission) can be removed by deconstructing the building, however.
-Training Troops and Traps
Sort of self-explanatory. The more troops and traps you train, the more your power will rise. If the troops are killed or injured, or your traps are destroyed, your power will drop accordingly. If you heal any injured troops, your power will rise according to how many/what type you heal.
