Apologies for this being a day late.
Week of April 5th – April 12th
April 12th – Black Market Announced
The Black Market, where players can purchase rare items and gear for as-of-yet undetermined prices. We don’t even know the currency. If the rollout takes as long as the comparable ability in Game of War, expect to be quite patient. But Epic War announcing this ability this soon is encouraging.
April 12th/7th – Manufacturing Research Tree Featured Again
The Manufacturing research tree is now live. This tree is going to vastly alter the course of Mobile Strike, as the Crafting Tree did in Game of War. The highlights of the tree include the introduction of six attainable levels of cores, and the 4th Attachment Slot, among other things.
April 12th/7th – Cores Introduced
Cores are a carry-over from Game of War, and essentially, cores are time-limited, bare-bones frames that you add attachments to to increase their combat or economic power. Once equipped, a timer begins and the core “breaks” or “burns out” at the end of that timer. They can stay in your inventory indefinitely, space dependent, until they are first equipped, however.
April 7th – Rebel Target – Scr00ge
The Scr00ge has spawned again, and like before, the mods and materials to craft the corresponding permanent gear can be obtained by attacking it, gathering from the Scr00ge Weapons Terminal it leaves behind once defeated, or in specially marked gold packs containing the Scr00ge crate.
April 12th/7th – Rebel Target – GR- Falcon
The GR-Falcon has started spawning again. The materials for the corresponding permanent gear and the mod can be found in crates in specially marked gold sales, from attacking the GR-Falcon, or from gathering from the GR-Falcon’s Nest it leaves behind once defeated.
April 7th – Subzero Prototype Gear Featured Again
Prototype gear is statistically stronger gear that has a timer that begins once equipped, and when the timer is completed the prototype gear is no longer useable and disappears. This gear is similar to the new cores, but prototype gear offers more limited statistical gains and less customization.
April 6th – Rebel Target – Gun Runner
The Gun Runner has spawned again, and like before, the mods and materials to craft the corresponding permanent gear can be obtained by attacking it, gathering from the Gun Runner Supply Depot it leaves behind once defeated, or in specially marked gold packs containing the Gun Runner crate.
April 12th/6th – Rebel Target – Hunter
The Hunter has spawned again. The materials for the corresponding permanent gear can be found in crates in gold packs, by attacking the Hunter, or by gathering from the Hunter’s Cargo.
If something particularly noteworthy happened this week in your state, please take screenshots and send an email describing it to email@example.com and I will try to get it into next week’s update.
